I have enough is a homeless charity, born of the idea, that if each of us took stock of our lives, and genuinely asked ourselves the question of "Do I have enough", the simple answer would be Yes.

In a world besieged by an incessant tide of consumerism, where material gain and constant comparison define our daily lives, we choose understand how truly lucky most of us are, and what we can do to help our fellow human beings, who are in need.

We don't do cash. We'd rather offer complete transparency by simply collecting shoeboxes, filled with essential items, each Christmas. These lovely gifts are then distributed to those experiencing homelessness.

Find yourself an empty shoe box and wrap it in Christmas paper. Alternatively grab a spare Christmas gift bag that is ready to be put to good use

STEP 2!

Fill your lovely wrapped shoebox or Christmas gift bag with some essential items that could just make the difference for someone homeless this winter in need of some love

STEP 3!

Simply drop your wonderful gift off at one of the collection points listed below and we'll take care of the rest.

Your gift will be hand delivered to someone who really needs it this year

What to fill your shoebox with?

Fill your Christmas shoeboxes with essential, practical items for warmth and hygiene, such as thermal socks, gloves, hats, underwear, wet wipes, and toiletries like toothbrushes and deodorant. Add treats like chocolate, sweets, or cereal bars, along with a thoughtful Christmas card, while avoiding sharp objects or alcohol-based products.

Essential Hygiene Items

Toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, shower gel, soap.
Health/Care: Wet wipes, tissues, hand warmers, lip balm, sanitizing gel (non-alcohol based).
Grooming: Comb, hairbrush, nail clippers, razor.
Sanitary Products: For women’s boxes.

Warmth & Clothing

Clothing: Socks (thermal if possible), underwear, gloves, hat, scarf.
Protection: Lightweight rain poncho or emergency foil blanket.

Food & Treats (Long Shelf Life)

Snacks: Chocolate, sweets, biscuits, cereal bars, crisps.
Practical: Dried fruit or nuts.
Note: Keep food separate from strongly scented toiletries to prevent odor transfer.

Practical & Personal Items

Practical: Torch (wind-up is best), pens, small notepad, reusable water bottle.
Personal: A Christmas card or a thoughtful, handwritten note.
Entertainment: Puzzle book, playing cards.

Items to Avoid

No alcohol-based products (mouthwash, hand sanitiser).
No sharp items (razors are often discouraged or must be given to staff).
No medication.
